About the Role

Digital Space Group is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Connected Services team. In this role, you will design and deliver high-value Secure Networks & Connectivity solutions, collaborating with strategic partners and internal teams to create compelling propositions for clients. You will act as a technical authority in pre-sales discussions, working closely with sales, account management, and product teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design: Evaluate customer requirements to propose scalable, secure, and cost-effective network solutions (SD-WAN, MPLS, LAN/WAN, SASE, UC&X, etc.).
  • Business Development: Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers to identify opportunities and develop winning solutions.
  • Pre-Sales & Technical Authority: Lead customer-facing workshops, articulate solution benefits, and ensure commercial viability.
  • Bid & Proposal Management: Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and gain approval for solutions through the Digital Space bid review process.
  • Product & Service Innovation: Provide input into product roadmaps and reference architectures, aligning with industry trends.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong client relationships by offering expert advice and strategic guidance.
  • Service Transition: Support seamless onboarding and adoption of network and security solutions.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Technical Consultancy within Networking, Connectivity, SASE, or UC&X.
  • Strong knowledge of Managed Services, MPLS, SD-WAN, Direct Internet Access (DIA), 5G, Cloud Networking, and Cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with Fortinet NSE 5+, Cisco/Meraki CMNA, or equivalent certifications.
  • Ability to communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working on digital transformation, security, and networking projects.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and ServiceNow.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.
