About the Role

Digital Space Group is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business growth across Connectivity, Networking, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and Unified Communications & Experience (UC&X) solutions. This is a key role in identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and positioning our cutting-edge solutions to  customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure new customers, expanding our presence in Connectivity, Networking, SASE, and UC&X.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and procurement teams, understanding their business challenges and offering tailored solutions.
  • Solution Selling: Work alongside technical teams to craft and present solutions that demonstrate the value of our services.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including pre-sales, marketing, and service delivery, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools (Salesforce.com), providing accurate forecasting and reporting.

Objectives & KPIs

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets in line with company goals.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Present complex and strategic sales bids at the OCR Forum.
  • Keep detailed and up-to-date records within Salesforce.com and other internal tools.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the Connectivity, Networking, SASE, or UC&X sectors.
  • Strong understanding of MPLS, SD-WAN, DIA, 5G, LAN/WAN, security, SASE frameworks, VoIP, Teams, and Contact Centre solutions.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive B2B environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally for business needs.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours when attending events, exhibitions, or client meetings.
