Are you ready for a new exciting challenge? Digital Space are looking for a Sales Specialist for Connect

Accountable for supporting contact centre opportunities and acting as a subject matter expert in the sales process but also taking ownership of new and existing customer relationships to drive contact centre pipeline.

The Digital Space portfolio includes Amazon Connect, 8x8 & Mitel. We want to build on our success in office telephony by developing our contact centre sales, using leads from AWS and our other suppliers. We have built our own products on the Connect platform and already have good reference ability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for a monthly sales performance target relating to growth of the contact centre portfolio
  • Provide accurate forecasts and reports on activity and sales performance via Salesforce
  • Create proposals and presentations to support account managers
  • Work closely with bid management, account management, solution architects, commercial and other virtual team members to ensure customer expectations are fully managed and any emerging opportunities are handled appropriately

Experience:

  • Background in contact centre sales and experience of selling contact centre solutions
  • Experience of working in an IT reseller and or managed service provider
  • Familiarity working with virtual teams, sales account managers, pre sales and customers
  • Familiarity with Amazon Connect and 8x8 contact centre solutions
  • Experience in sales to any of the following sectors: housing, healthcare, manufacturing, local government, retail

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Relevant accreditations in Amazon Connect, 8x8 or other relevant contact centre technologies
  • Understanding of the contact centre market, solution and outcome based selling
  • Highly capable at turning insight and leads into an outcome-based concept for customers
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills to interact successfully at all levels
  • First-class customer service relationship management skills
  • Persuasive with good negotiating skills, diplomacy and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, generating new ideas and follow through to completion
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Excellent Computer skills including Microsoft Office, ServiceNow
  • Appreciation of the sales & onboarding process to ensure right first time for the customer.
